Lambretta Electric Scooter Conversion with 70-mile range SSC Plug & Play Classic Scooter Kit eBretta

UK Distributor, Tim Boardman, explains the features of this new kit from SSC. The conversion fits all S1, S2 & S3 Lambretta scooters, and being a pre-wired plug and play kit, it is also fully reversible. Fitting time is estimated, by Tim, at around 3.5 hours, the kit utilises a 72v rear hub motor, putting out 190nm torque (estimated equivalent to a 125cc scooter) and gives a 55mph top speed. Aimed at commuters and city dwellers, it has a 70-mile range and costs £3500 for the kit, which is available from either Tim or CamLam in the UK.
